In God We Trust
In God we trust (Kepada Tuhan Kita Percaya) adalah moto rasmi Amerika Syarikat. Moto ini pertama kali muncul di atas syiling A.S. pada tahun 1864[1] semasa sentimen kuat Kristian dalam Perang Saudara. In God We Trust tidak menjadi moto kebangsaan rasmi sehingga Akta Kongres 1956 diluluskan. Ia boleh dianggap sebagai pilihan atau menggantikan moto tidak rasmi E pluribus unum, yang digunapakai apabila Mohor Besar Amerika Syarikat dicipta pada 1782.[2][3] Ia mula digunakan di wang kertas sejak 1957.[4]
Ia juga moto salah satu negeri A.S. iaitu Florida. Padanannya dalam bahasa Sepanyol, En Dios Confiamos, ialah moto Republik Nicaragua.[5]
