Republik Venezia

Republik Venezia (Itali: Repubblica di Veneziacode: it is deprecated , Bahasa Venezia: Repùblica Vèneta atau Repùblica de Venesia; juga Ind. Republik Venesia, Mal. Republik Venice) merupakan sebuah negara yang berpusat dari kota Venezia di persisiran utara Itali. Negara ini wujud sejak akhir kurun ke-7 sehingga tahun 1797. Republik ini dikenali secara rasmi sebagai Republik Venezia Yang Amat Tenang (Itali: Serenissima Repubblica di Veneziacode: it is deprecated , Venice: Serenìsima Repùblica Vènetacode: vec is deprecated atau Repùblica de Venesiacode: vec is deprecated ) dan sering disebut sebagai La Serenissima, bersempena gelaran rasminya sebagai salah sebuah "Republik Yang Amat Tenang". Walaupun negara ini memiliki sejarah yang penuh dengan peperangan dan penaklukan, nama baik republik moden ini banyak berdasarkan statusnya sebagai kuasa ekonomi dan perdagangan.
