Hal itu dilakukan agar Pemprovsu dapat semakin dekat dengan masyarakat. “Rangkaian kegiatan hari besar agama Islam yang biasanya kita lakukan di satu tempat di Medan, tapi hari ini kita ubah, kita datang ke kecamatan-kecataman dan kabupaten/kota. Sehingga masyarakat bisa lebih dekat dengan kita,” ujar Gubsu Tengku Erry Nuradi pada Peringatan Maulid Nabi Muhammad SAW yang mendatangkan ustad Muhammad Nur Maulana (ustad Maulana) di Masjid Al Iman, Medan Marelan, Selasa (12/12).
