The X-Files ialah siri televisyen Amerika Syarikat yang dicipta oleh Chris Carter dan disiarkan di FOX TV pada 10 September 1993, dan berakhir pada 19 Mei 2002. Watak utamanya ialah ejen khusus FBI Fox Mulder dan Dana Scully yang menyiasat pelbagai kes yang tidak dapat diselesaikan, dan bersifat paranormal.

Mulder dilakonkan oleh David Duchovny manakala Scully oleh Gillian Anderson. Keduanya bekerja di bawah kuasa Pembantu Pengarah FBI Walter Skinner yang dilakonkan oleh Mitch Pileggi. Mulder ialah orang yang mempercayai kewujudan makhluk asing dan dunia paranormal. Manakal Scully, sebagai ahli sains perubatan, digandingkan dengan Mulder oleh pihak tertentu untuk menghentikan pekerjaan Mulder. Akan tetapi, seiring waktu berjalan, mereka membina hubungan persahabatan yang erat. Scully yang awalnya tidak menerima hal-hal yang tidak dapat dibuktikan secara saintifik, lama kelamaan mematangkan fikirannya.

Populariti siri ini melonjak di pertengahan dekad 1990an, malah memiliki sebuah filem layar lebar yang berlatar antara musim ke-5 dan ke-6, Fight the Future. Slogan-slogan dari rancangan ini juga terkenal, seperti "The Truth is Out There", "Trust No One", dan "I Want to Believe." Menurut majalah TV Guide, The X-Files ialah rancangan TV ke-2 terhebat sepanjang zaman, selepas Star Trek.
