John Corbett

John Joseph Corbett, Jr. (lahir 9 Mei 1961) ialah pelakon dan penyanyi Amerika Syarikat.[1] Beliau terkenal sebagai Chris Stevens dalam Northern Exposure dari 1990 hingga 1995; dan Aidan, kekasih Carrie Bradshaw dalam Sex and the City—peranan yang dilakonkan semula dalam kesinambungan Sex and the City 2. Beliau juga menjadi pasangan lakonan Nia Vardalos dalam My Big Fat Greek Wedding (2002). Latar belakang sunting

Corbett lahir di Wheeling, West Virginia pada 9 Mei 1961.[2] Beliau melanjutkan pelajarannya di Wheeling Central Catholic High School, menamatkan pengajian pada tahun 1979.[3] Corbett mulai belajar bermain gitar sejak umur 7 tahun, dan pada umur 16 tahun beliau menerima tawaran beraksi di Capitol Music Hall.[4] Selepas menamatkan persekolahan, Corbett berpindah ke California, bekerja di kilang baja selama enam tahun.[5] Belkau menggunakan masa lapangnya untuk berlatih secara fizikal untuk mendaftarkan diri di L.A. County Deputy Sheriff, namun tidak berjaya.[6] Beoiau berhenti bekerja kerana mengalami kecederaan, beliau kemdian belajar di Cerritos College, Norwalk, California.
