Memiliki keluasan sekitar 108,000 km² dan berpenduduk sekitar 560,200 pada tahun (1999). Ibukotanya ialah [[Tabuk]].
== Sejarah ==
Sejarah kawasan Tabuk dapat dilihat sehingga 3,500 tahun yang lalu. Wilayah ini dikenali dengan tanah [[Maydan]] dan [[Dadan]] yang disebutkan dalam kitab [[Bible]] dan [[al-Qur'an]]. [[Perang Tabuk|Perang Tabouk]] berlaku di sekitar Tabuk pada zaman [[Nabi Muhammad]].
Monumen di Tabuk termasuk [[masjid]] bersejarah, [[kubu]] Tabuk, dan stesen [[kereta api]] yang wujud sejak [[Empayar Uthmaniyyah]]. Di kawasan Tabuk, sebilangan tapak [[arkeologi]] telah ditemui, termasuk [[Al Bidaa]].
==Geografi dan Iklim==
Tabuk mempunyai cuacua benua gurun, dengan [[musim panas]] yang panas dan [[musim sejuk]] yang sederhana. [[Suhu]] pada musim panas antara 27-46°C (80-114°F), manakala suhu musim sejuk kekadang mencapai serendah -6°C (20°F). Hujan di kawasan Tabuk turun pada bulan musim sejuk antara November sehingga Mac, dengan [[Kerpasan (meteorologi)|kerpasan]] tahunan antara 2 - 6 inci ( 50 - 150 mm). [[Salji]] turun setiap 3-4 tahun.
