'''Batu bersurat Singapura''' merujuk kepada satu [[batu bersurat]] yang dijumpai ketika [[Thomas Stamford Raffles|Sir Stamford Raffles]] membuka [[Singapura]]. Jumpaan batu bersurat tersebut terdapat di dalam karya Abdullah bin Abdul Kadir Munsyi. Batu bersurat tersebut berbentuk empat segi, selebar sedepa (1.7 meter) dan mempunyai tulisan dipahat. Batu bersurat tersebut dijumpai di hujung tanjung semasa pembukaan Singapura, dan kekal sehingga semasa Bonham menjadi gabenor bagi Singapura, [[Pulau Pinang]] dan [[Melaka]]. Ketika itu seorang jurutera Inggeris bernama Coleman telah memecahkan batu tersebut.
 
Beberapa usaha mengenalpasti jenis tulisan telah dilakukan semasa itu, tetapi ia masih tidak dapat dikenal pasti. Malah salinan tulisan tersebut telah di hantar ke London bagi mengenal pasti asal tulisan tersebut tetapi masih gagal. Abdullah bin Abdul Kadir Munsyi sendiri menyatakan ia kelihatan seperti tulisan arab, tetapi akhirnya ia telah diputuskan oleh Raffles sebagai tulisan Hindi (Sanskrit) memandangkan usia batu bersurat tersebut yang begitu lama.
 
Yang amat menarik bagi batu bersurat Singapura ni adalah terdapat cerita yang selari mengenai batu bersurat ini yang terdapat di dalam Sulalatus Salatin. Di dalam karya tersebut telah dinyatakan dengan jelas mengenai seorang raja yang bergelar Raja Suran yang telah menakluk seluruh Tanah Melayu sehingga sampai ke Temasik. Di Temasik beliau telah membuat suatu monkor (peti kaca) dan masuk kelaut. Setelah itu, Raja Suran, dikatakan telah mendirikan satu batu bersurat yang menceritakan segala kisah penaklukannya, termasuk peristiwa baginda masuk ke dalam laut dalam bahasa Hindustani.
 
Ternyata batu bersurat ini mempunyai persamaan dengan batu bersurat Singapura, berdasarkan fakta berikut:-
