Android
Android [an-droid - pinjaman Yunani: ἀνδρεῖος, rumi: andreios "seakan lelaki" dan εἶδος eidos "rupa"[1]] ialah robot [2] atau makhluk buatan lain[3][4][5] direka untuk menyerupai manusia, dan sering dibuat dari bahan seumpama daging.[3] Ia lazimnya ada dalam cereka sains filem dan televisyen, namun kemajuan terkini dalam teknologi robot kini membolehkan rekabentuk robot humanoid berfungsi dan realistik.[6]
