Republik Sosialis Czechoslovakia
Republik Czechoslovakia (Czech: Československá republika, Slovak: Česko-slovenská republika) wujud antara tahun 1948 dan 1960. Republik Sosialis Czechoslovakia (Czech dan Slovak: Československá socialistická republika, ČSSR) adalah nama Czechoslovakia dari tahun 1960 hingga 23 April 1990, sewaktu negara ini dibawah Pemerintahan komunis. Ia merupakan negara satelit Soviet Union.[3] Susulan dari peristiwa kudeta Februari 1948, sewaktu Parti Komunis Czechoslovakia merampas kuasa dengan bantuan Soviet Union, negara ini telah diisytiharkan sebagai republik sosialis selepas Perlembagaan Sembilan-haribulan-Mei berkuatkuasa. Nama tradisional Československá republika (Republik Czechoslovakia) telah diubah pada 11 Julai 1960 susulan dari pelaksanaan Perlembagaan 1960 Czechoslovakia sebagai satu simbol "kemenangan akhir sosialisme" di negara ini, dan kekal sehingga Revolusi Velvet pada November 1989. Beberapa simbol negara lain telah diubah pada tahun 1960. Sejurus selepas Revolusi Velvet, Republik Sosialis Czechoslovakia telah dinamakan semula sebagai Republik Persekutuan Czech dan Slovakia.
