Synth-pop
Synth-pop (kependekan dari synthesizer pop;[3] juga disebut techno-pop[4][5]) ialah subgenre muzik new wave[6][7] yang pertama kali menjadi terkenal pada akhir 1970-an dan menampilkan synthesizer sebagai alat muzik yang dominan. Ini dibuat pada tahun 1960-an dan awal 1970-an dengan penggunaan synthesizer dalam progresif rock, elektronik, art rock, disko, dan terutama "Krautrock" kumpulan seperti Kraftwerk. Ini muncul sebagai genre yang berbeza di Jepun dan Inggeris pada era pasca-punk sebagai sebahagian dari pergerakan new wave pada akhir 1970-an hingga pertengahan 1980-an.
