Template:MoS-guideline is only used on pages belonging to the Wikipedia Manual of Style. This template can only be used on pages that have received a general consensus as belonging to the Manual of Style. The template automatically categorizes the page into Category:Wikipedia style guidelines. An optional parameter sortkey can make it become [[Category:Wikipedia style guidelines|sortkey]]. It should sort by what is in the parentical disambiguator, examples:



The template has eight parameters. The first three parameters, type, image and text, are fixed by the template itself. The remaining parameters include five unnamed parameters, that allow a user to specify up to five shortcut links for the style guideline page.
