Christian de Duve
Christian René Marie Joseph, Viscount de Duve (2 Oktober 1917 - 4 Mei 2013) ialah seorang ahli sitologi dan biokimia Belgium yang memenangi Hadiah Nobel.[1][2] Beliau membuat penemuan yang bermanfaat dua organel sel, peroksisom dan lisosom, yang mana beliau berkongsi Hadiah Nobel dalam Fisiologi atau Perubatan pada tahun 1974 dengan Albert Claude dan George E. Palade ("untuk penemuan mereka mengenai struktur dan fungsi organisasi sel").[3] Sebagai tambahan kepada peroksisom dan lisosom, beliau mencipta nama saintifik seperti autofagi, endositosis, dan eksositosis dalam satu keadaan.[4][5][6][7][8]
