Mystus
genus ikan
Mystus ialah sebuah genus ikan dalam keluarga Bagridae yang berasal dari Asia.[1] Hubungan filogenetik dalam genus ini tidak berapa difahami, sungguhpun telah dicadangkan terdapat dua keturunan utama.[2] Ia umumnya dikenali sebagai "baung".

Ikan ini turut terdapat di sungai-sungai di Kalimantan Tengah dan ukurannya mampu mencapai 20 kg. Umpan yang dipakai untuk memancing ikan ini biasanya ialah induk semut yang berwarna hijau terang; satu kail dikaitkan dengan 5 hingga 10 ekor induk semut tersebut, atau menggunakan cacing tanah yang besar atau usus ayam.[perlu rujukan]
