Sistem tulisan
suntingTiga sistem tulisan telah digunakan dalam sejarah bahasa Georgia. Kini hanya satu tulisan, Mkhedruli ("ketenteraan") digunakan hampir sepenuhnya; yang lain lazimnya hanya untuk keminatan para cendekiawan yang membaca dokumen sejarah.
Mkhedruli mempunyai 33 huruf yang sering digunakan; dengan enam huruf yang tidak digunakan kini.
