Pembunuhan James A. Garfield

Pembunuhan James A. Garfield, Presiden Amerika Syarikat ke-20, telah berlaku pada 2 Julai 1881 pada jam 9:30 pagi iaitu kurang dari empat bulan selepas Garfield menjadi Presiden. Beliau telah ditembak oleh Charles J. Guiteau di Stesen Kereta Api Baltimore dan Potomac di Washington, D.C. dan meninggal dunia 79 hari kemudian pada 19 September 1881 di Elberon, New Jersey. Garfield merupakan presiden Amerika Syarikat yang kedua dibunuh selepas Abraham Lincoln serta disertai oleh pembunuhan William McKinley dan John F. Kennedy.
